GEORGE MOTZ, FOUNDER
Motz has almost 30 years in the branded content business with 18+ focused on food. He began his career in tabletop learning the art of food photography at the elbow of tabletop wizard Greg Ramsey. He has gone on to work with national food brands, restaurant groups, chefs and networks to create killer branded content for television, digital, and print.
Clients include: Hellmann’s, Conde Nast, Sugar in the Raw, Certified Angus Beef Brand, AvroKO Restaurant Group, Schweid & Sons, Cooking Channel, Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, AMC, and Wasabi Sushi & Bento.

In 2004, Motz made Hamburger America, a documentary about eight great American hamburgers and the people behind them. The film went on to garner numerous awards and nominations, ultimately leading to the state-by-state hamburger guide book, an app and a series on Travel Channel, Burger Land. Motz is now widely credited as America's foremost hamburger expert. His first cookbook The Great American Burger Book was released in 2016.
Motz founded the Food Film Festival in 2007, a multi-sensory annual event. At the Festival, the audience is treated to the food they see on the screen Each year, Motz, along with a submissions committee, screens hundreds of food films from around the globe. Working extensively with these filmmakers, Motz has amassed a vast network of extraordinarily passionate, talented directors whose specialties traverse every corner of the food content sphere.
In addition to his work behind the camera, Motz has hosted two shows on Travel Channel, Made In America and Burger Land (the latter as a co-Executive Producer), and has made numerous appearances on television, in print media and beyond.
Motz has personally garnered several Emmys, Telly Awards, and a handful of Broadcast Design Awards as well as a nomination for the prestigious James Beard Award for his film Hamburger America.
